There are six sizes of Plusaire so how do you decide which size would be right for your home? To help you determine the correct size, PLUSAIREŽ has devised a simple chart for the homeowner to use.
Scan the list and circle the value of the appliances that you have. Add the values to see what size Plusaire is right for your home. If you have more than one of any appliance, increase the value accordingly.

Furnace (less than 80,000 btu input) 36
Furnace (greater than 80,000 btu input) 48
Gas or oil fired water heater 16
Wood burning fireplace (masonry) 68
Masonry Chimney Exhaust Fan 80
Wood burning fireplace (with glass door) 24
Wood burning fireplace (zero clearance) 12

If your total is below 180 you will need a BME 1A.
If your total is between 181 and 240 you will need a BME 2A.
If your total is between 241 and 300 you will need a BME 3A.
If your total is between 301 and 365 you will need a BME 4A.
If your total is between 366 and 419 you will need a BME 5A.
If your total is over 430 consult the factory.

For homes with more than one furnace you must use a PlusaireŽ in each and treat each, furnace as if heating a separate zone.
